To install, simply run the installer. Take a note of what port it will run on.
After installation, you should see a service 'pds' running.
To test the service is operating correctly, please see Getting Started.
You can set the port using the installer.
After installation, you can change it via registry key:
127.0.0.1 only accepts connections from localhost; 0.0.0.0 accepts connections from anywhere (assuming your firewall allows it)
Restart the "pds" (PlutextDocumentServices) service after changing the registry key value
To install a new release without having to reboot Windows, take these preliminary steps:
Now you can run the new release installer, and after this you should see service 'pds' running again.
